Dr. Yumao Lu

Yumao Lu is currently a Principal Development Lead at Microsoft Sillicon Valley Center in Mountain View, Califorinia. Before joining Microsoft in August 2010, he was a Senior Scientist at Yahoo! Labs in Sunnyvale, California. He obtained his Ph. D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California Los Angeles in 2005. His research has been on computational models for large scale systems and its applications in machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, and their intersections.
